It is a mere 15 minutes in Changi and a half-hour to the bustling Orchard Road. To take advantage of the eastside of Singapore overview, review Goldkist Beach Resort. This hotel is a mere 10 minutes from Changi and offers a beautiful view of the East coast of the country. Budget travellers can check Hotel 81 Sakura, hotel 81 Opera, Fragrance Hotel-Joo Chiat, Gateway Hotel and hotel Tri-Star. All are less than 7 km from the airport.

There are some hotels popular airport to Singapore which may be a little more from Changi, but is closer to the main districts of the country.  Santa Grand Hotel Aljunied is 20 minutes from the airport, but it is very close to the city centre. This humble accommodation has no dining facilities, but there are many restaurants in the vicinity. Fragrance Hotel Ruby is also 20 minutes from Changi, but a mere 10 minutes walk to MRT railway station. Other hotels in this affordable area of Geylang are 81 Palace Hotel, Fragrance Hotel Crystal, hotel 81 Geylang and hotel Pearl fragrance. All these accommodations have very competitive rates, which makes it a popular choice among budget travellers.
